Get to Know About TWAAV.

Setbacks, misfortunes, and disappointments are inevitable in life and can often leave one feeling defeated, hopeless, and broken. After my domestic mishap, which left me a broken single mother, entrepreneur, and businesswoman, I was tempted to feel this way, but praise God! My book tells it all (Silent Too Long). Instead of adopting this self-sabatoging mindset, I used this life-threatening event as the impetus to expand my humanitarian mindset beyond the four walls of my medical practice and venture out more into the community at large. Thus, Three Women And A Vision, Inc. (TWAAV), a 501c3 nonprofit organization, evolved from this journey that my two daughters and I (the three women) experienced while adjusting during our mishap, and, ironically, we have been able to empower, inspire, and bless others going through difficult times concomitantly while transitioning through our own. Today, as a physician who has implemented a holistic approach in my private practice over the last several years, I realize the importance of promoting total health, which includes one’s mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health. Oftentimes, there is more emphasis on physical health with the neglect of the others, but all of these components contribute to one’s total health. Through this nonprofit, these less-addressed areas will also be targeted for the betterment of society. Consequently, people will be educated, liberated, transformed, and healed.

Dr. Whyte blessed me with free surgery after being dropped by my insurance company because of multiple absences from work due to complications from fibroids. She also persuaded the hospital to drop their charges for my surgery and hospital stay too. Dr. Whyte is truly a patient advocate.

Dr. Whyte and the Image of Eve staff are like family to me. During my pregnancy, I felt lonely and emotionally overwhelmed as I was navigating my new life as a wife and soon-to-be mother. One day I was very emotional and felt like I had no one to turn to, but Dr. Whyte took me in for an unscheduled and last-minute visit. She listened to me, held me while I cried on her shoulder, and prayed for me. Time was not a factor either as I stayed there until I felt better. Consequently, I left there feeling more loved, at peace, and encouraged. I didn't know what I was missing until I found Dr. Whyte and her medical office staff - "The Image of Eve Restored, Inc." Through her nonprofit organization - "Three Women And A Vision, Inc." - Dr. Whyte and her team will provide support groups and resources for these life challenges that are unaddressed in a regular doctor's office visit.

I came to Dr. Whyte a couple years ago as a patient, and she performed my surgery. During my appointments I learned that she and I shared similar life experiences. I couldn’t believe that she actually took time to talk to, and pray with her patients. I knew then I was at the right place. What I didn’t know is God was strategically connecting me to a piece of my assignment. She offered me an opportunity to work with her and service my clients there on Friday’s. Since working there I have seen the heart of Three Women and A Vision mission and purpose in action as she prayed with, loved on and even reached in her pocket to assist many patients in need. That’s what you call Love in action! Dr. Barbara Neely
